Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 19, 2026
Introduction
We are committed to protecting your privacy and giving you control over your data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our services.
Our Privacy-First Approach
Our service is built with privacy as a core principle. We use a local-first architecture, which means:
- Your data is primarily stored locally on your device
- You maintain control over your information at all times
- Cloud backup is optional and only occurs when you explicitly choose to enable it
- We minimize data collection to only what is operationally necessary
Information We Collect
We collect personal information from you, including information about your:
- Name - to identify you and personalize your experience
- Contact information - to communicate with you about our services
- Location - to provide location-based features and jurisdictionally constrained services
- Computer or network - technical information necessary for service delivery and security
- Interactions with us - to improve our services and provide support
- Billing or purchase information - to process transactions and provide paid services
How We Use Your Information
We collect your personal information in order to properly provide our business services to you, including:
- Delivering and maintaining our core services
- Processing transactions and managing your account
- Providing customer support
- Operating jurisdictionally constrained services such as our Loyalty Rewards program
- Ensuring the security and proper functioning of our platform
Data Storage and Architecture
Local Storage (Primary)
Your data is stored locally on your device using:
- Progressive Web App (PWA) technology - allowing offline access and app-like functionality
- IndexedDB - a browser-based database that keeps your information on your device
- Local encryption - protecting your data even when stored on your device
Optional Cloud Backup
You may optionally choose to back up your data to our secure servers. This backup:
- Is entirely optional and disabled by default
- Requires your explicit consent to enable
- Can be disabled at any time from your settings
- Is encrypted both in transit and at rest
Information Sharing
We take your privacy seriously and limit data sharing to what is necessary for operations.
Who We Share With
Besides our staff, we share this information with:
- Operational service providers - to provide infrastructure and data processing services necessary for our platform to function
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Staff Access
Only necessary staff members have access to your personal information, and only to the extent required to perform their duties and provide you with support.
Loyalty and Partner Discounts (Optional)
Counsel review pending. This section discloses the data practices of the optional Loyalty Rewards and Network of Service Providers (NSP) partner-discount features. It does not change the local-first treatment of your core data (inventory, maintenance records, photos, documents), which always stays on your device.
If you choose to enrol in our Loyalty Rewards program and use the partner-discount feature, we operate single-use, cooldown-limited discount vouchers that participating service providers validate. To run that feature, and only that feature, we record a small amount of discount-transaction information on our servers. We tell you exactly what this is so you can decide before you opt in.
What we collect for partner discounts:
- That a discount code was generated by your account, and the date and time it was generated.
- Whether that code was used, and if so the date and time it was used.
- Which participating service provider the code is for.
- The discount terms attached to the code (for example, percentage or fixed amount) at the time it was generated.
- If you introduce another member through an invite link, a record that an introduction was made so we can credit your account.
Why we collect it: This information is operationally necessary to make each discount code single-use, to enforce the limit of one discount per provider per billing cycle, and to let the provider confirm a code is valid. A single-use, cooldown-limited, provider-validated discount cannot be operated without recording who generated a code, whether it was used, and at which provider. We collect nothing beyond what these functions require.
What we do not do: We never sell this information. We never share it with other service providers. We never use it for marketing or advertising. A participating service provider who validates your code receives only a "valid" or "invalid" answer and the discount amount; they never receive your identity or any of your other data.
Retention: Discount codes that have been used are deleted within 30 days of use. Codes that expire without being used are removed by the same routine. We keep this data only as long as needed to operate the discount and enforce the cooldown.
Local provider matching: To show local service providers, your address is validated transiently against USPS (it is not stored by us), and a coarse county derived from it is held only on your device.
Your control: These features are entirely optional and are part of the Loyalty Rewards program. You consent to this collection only when you enrol in Loyalty Rewards and accept the Loyalty Rewards Terms and Conditions, which itemize this collection. If you never enrol, none of this data is collected and your core data remains local-only as described above. The full terms governing this collection are set out in the Loyalty Rewards Terms and Conditions, incorporated here by reference.
